Oakham Ales have collaborated with Norwich’s Fat Cat Brewery on a 4.1% ABV amber ale which will be released next Monday (12th May).

Founded in 2005, Fat Cat have built an enviable reputation for brewing award-winning beers, mostly with a feline naming theme.
The 4.1% ABV beer, named Cat on a Hop Tin Roof, has been hopped with two German varieties, Herkules and Mandarina Bavaria, on a malt base of Maris Otter, wheat malt, caramalt, and rye.
“Expect spicy pine, black pepper, and floral hints from Herkules, combined superbly with mandarin and lemon citrus flavours from Mandarina,” say the brewers. “All finished off with a smooth and moreish bitterness.”
