The South Downs Beer and Cider Festival is returning for a 27th year, on 20th and 21st June, at the Town Hall in Lewes, East Sussex.

The event, staged by the Brighton and South Downs branch of CAMRA, will feature more than 70 cask ales and local kegs, and over 15 ciders and perries.
Organisers promise limited availability special and award-winning beers, with a meet the brewer session pencilled in for Friday morning. There will also be hot food, pub games, and a homebrew competition.
There will be three sessions: Friday, from 11am to 3pm and 5-10.30pm; and Saturday, from 11am-7pm. Ticket prices include a festival glass and £5 beer token for CAMRA members showing their membership card.
Tickets are available in advance from: Harvey’s shop, the Brewers Arms, and the Gardener’s Arms, in Lewes; and the Evening Star in Brighton. They are also online here. Tickets on the door will be subject to availability.
