Brew York have announced the Nine Realms Ale Series, a limited-edition collection of 12 beers celebrating the brewery’s ninth anniversary.
Inspired by the legendary Nine Realms of Norse mythology, the series showcases nine exclusive collaborations, alongside three extra-special anniversary releases.
The journey begins in this month, with the first four beers hitting the shelves. The remaining eight will be released individually every month.
“At Brew York, we’ve always been passionate about pushing the boundaries of brewing while staying true to the traditions that inspire us,” Lee Graham, production director and co-founder of Brew York.
“With the Nine Realms Ale Series, we’re not just celebrating our ninth anniversary — we’re also paying tribute to York’s deep-rooted Viking history.
“The Norse influence runs through the heart of this city, and we wanted to honour that legacy with a collection of beers that captures the spirit of mythology, storytelling, and craftsmanship.”

Launching 8th April
Odin’s Gaze (5.2% ABV), NEIPA
In collaboration with Northern Monk, Brew York pays tribute to Asgard, the realm of the Aesir gods and Odin’s great hall. Odin’s Gaze is bursting with bold hop character and delivers waves of juicy grapefruit, ripe peach, and tropical fruits.
Launching 15th April
Cosmic Coil (4.5% ABV), cherry and pear sour
Inspired by Jörmungandr, the world serpent, who coils around the Earth in an eternal loop, this bold sour ale blends tart cherry and sweet peach.
Celestial Steed (8.5% ABV), chocolate and matcha parfait stout
Honouring Sleipnir, Odin’s eight-legged steed, this decadent stout combines rich chocolate and earthy matcha, delivering a velvety body and a balanced flavour profile.
Fenrir’s Howl (11% ABV), whisky and bourbon barrel-aged spiced imperial stout
This stout captures the ferocity of Fenrir, the monstrous Norse wolf, with deep, warming bourbon and whisky character, layered with rich spice and dark malt complexity.
