Tūn Brewing Co, new on the Manchester Craft Beer scene, have launched their third beer, a 6.5% ABV New England IPA called Gem State of Mind.
Brewed with a combination of extra pale malt, torrefied wheat, torrefied oats, Cara Pils, and dextrin, it achieves a luxuriously soft and pillowy body, says the brewer.
Idaho 7 and Citra hops take centre stage, offering vibrant notes of mango, pineapple, and citrus, complemented by subtle pine and stonefruit undertones. It has been fermented with Pomona yeast.
“Hazy, juicy IPAs are one of the most beloved styles in craft beer, and Gem State of Mind showcases everything we love about them,” said Richard Alston, founder of Tūn Brewing Company.
“With waves of tropical fruit flavour, a smooth mouthfeel, and just the right level of bitterness, it’s a beer that delivers on every sip.”
