James Clay & Sons and VisitFlanders have teamed up to launch of UK Belgian Beer Week, taking place from Monday, 24th February to 1st March.

VisitFlanders

Drawing on their well-established network within the Belgian brewing industry, James Clay & Sons have organised a celebration featuring exclusive beer tastings, special brewery appearances, and a showcase of Belgium’s rich and diverse beer heritage across various retail outlets in the UK. VisitFlanders is partnering to promote the events.

Many of the events will feature some of the most exciting limited releases and one-off brews from across Flanders, Brussels, and Wallonia.

“UK Belgian Beer Week is an opportunity for us to put more glasses of Belgian beer in the hands of British drinkers than ever before,” said Joe Dick, communications director at James Clay & Sons.

“Our aim is to ensure that drinkers in the country’s best pubs renew their appreciation for Belgian beer and continue to ask for it in the on-and off-trade. By partnering with VisitFlanders we can highlight how easy it is to visit the incredible breweries of the region, and enjoy the best that Flanders and Belgium as a whole has to offer.”

Andrew Daines, director of VisitFlanders UK and Ireland, added: “It’s great that so many brewers are travelling to the UK to tell the stories behind their brilliant beers. It will surely inspire people to travel to Belgium to immerse themselves in the wonderful beer culture.”
