Dark Island took silver in the category for brown ales, red ales, old ales, and strong milds. Other beers from the brewery were also featured at the festival, including Cliff Edge IPA.

“It is wonderful news to end a busy winter trading period, and fantastic again to be recognised for the quality of our island-inspired brewing,” said Orkney Brewery managing director Norman Sinclair.

“The standard of this competition is extremely high. To achieve recognition for our Dark Island again demonstrates the skill and endeavour of our brewing team and continues to maintain our reputation for beers of great quality and depth of flavour.”
