Vault City Brewing has launched a raspberry ‘aphrodisiac’ beer, charged with chocolate and chilli, just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Love Potion, at a punchy 6.8% ABV, is a juicy raspberry sour made with Cholaca (pure liquid cacao) and real habanero chilli flakes. These are two ingredients known for their abilities to liven up libidos.
Vault City’s brewers say the blend of raspberries with velvety smooth chocolate and a delicate spark of chilli heat balances sweetness, richness, and just the right amount of fiery warmth.
“Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and we knew some of our customers would be looking to add a little spice to their love life,” said brewery co-founder Steven Smith-Hay.
“Chocolate and a kick of chilli are a perfect marriage in a sour beer, and it also helps that those ingredients are considered to be aphrodisiacs. Who knows where that might lead, but how cool would it be if Love Potion inspired the first Vault City wedding?
“We, of course, can’t make any promises that this beer can improve your love life, but we do think — whether a beer lover or their significant other — that Love Potion will capture the hearts of whoever drinks it.”
