Magic Rock Brewing Co, part of the In Good Company group of businesses, has filed notice of intent to appoint administrators through legal firm Fladgate.
In Good Company also owns fellow brewer Fourpure which it placed into voluntary liquidation last year to “protect the brand from future liability, the ongoing market pressures, and tough commercial realities in the drinks and hospitality industries”.
The notice of intent by Magic Rock will protect it from claims by creditors while its owners consider their next move.
Magic Rock was founded in Huddersfield in 2012. It was sold to multinational outfit Lion in 2019, then acquired by In Good Company in 2022.
