Siren Craft Brew has announced the beer which will complete the line-up in its 2024 Caribbean Chocolate Cake release.
Joining Caribbean Chocolate Cake, Death By CCC, and Chocolate Orange Tiramisu will be Rocky Road Brownie.
Named after the famous sweet treat, it’s dense and fudgy, with sprinklings of marshmallows, honeycomb, and biscuits. It has been made in collaboration with Edinburgh’s Vault City.
“Over the years we’ve experimented with a variety of different flavour profiles and ingredients,” says the brewer. “In 2020, we added a nitro element to the main beer, making an already luxurious beer even smoother and more creamy. And ‘Death By’, the imperial strength version, has all but become a permanent fixture in the line-up.
“Over the years we’ve had white stouts, pancake stacks, ginger cake, orange cake, and even a small-batch Christmas cake special!
“Those with a keen eye will have noticed that the usual habit of three variants with a barrel-aged version making up the four was broken in 2021. From here on, we decided to push the boundaries with four variants, giving us more freedom to experiment and have fun with the ingredients.”
The beers will be released nationally next Saturday, 8th November. The following Friday, 15th November, Siren will be streaming a live tasting event when you can find out more about the new beers and their journey from concept to glass. Find out more on the Siren website.
