The 2024 release of Steady Rolling Strata and Double Steady Rolling Strata will be landing online and in DEYA’s taproom next Wednesday, 30th October. It will be available nationwide from 1st November.

DEYA Strata hops
The Strata hops after picking in Portland

Steady Rolling Strata is an interpretation of DEYA’s most important beer, Steady Rolling Man. The base recipe is the same as for Steady — plenty of oats, a NEIPA water profile, and a fruity English ale yeast.

The usual hop additions are switched out for Strata, from Indie Hops. The Strata was selected last month in Portland by head brewer Gareth Moore.

The Strata Gareth selected on his trip was one of the first lots pelletised from the 2024 harvest and one of the first packaged pelletised hops to go out. The project, started in 2020, is facilitated by importer Loughran Brewers Select and merchant Indie Hops.

It’s Beer Today’s 20th anniversary this month!
I love updating this site, but it needs more Patreon supporters to survive into the future. Individual supporters are particularly welcome, and there are great options for commercial businesses which involve social media sharing, advertorial opportunities and advertising discounts.
