It’s proving a golden year for The Cotswold Cider Co with their flagship product Cotswold Prime Cider winning the International Cider Challenge trophy.
It follows the gold medal and innovation trophy for their 1% ABV low-alcohol cider, Phantom Of The Orchard, at the International Cider Awards.
Cotswold Prime Cider is a medium dry 4.6% ABV golden cider that mirrors the subtle elegance of the Cotswold region, says the maker.
“We’re delighted and thrilled that these two latest additions to our range have come top of their respective fields,” said Rory Souter, founder and managing director of The Cotswold Cider Company.
“To have won not one but two global trophies this year is a great endorsement of our style of accessible tannic ciders. It puts the mighty cider apple in its rightful place at the front and centre of the cider world, and the prestigious awards are a fabulous reward for all the team’s hard work.”
