Wimbledon Brewery have revealed the winner of Battle of the Breweries, staged when they ran their beer festival earlier this month.
Some of the guest drinkers polled at Wimble Brewery’s beer festival
Drinkers were asked to vote for their favourite of the guest beers, and the winner was Nightjar, a 4.6% ABV nitro stout from Wye Valley Brewery. The Herefordshire outfit also took the award for best-selling guest brewer at the event.
The silver medal was snapped up by Burning Sky Brewery, whose Saison de Fête was many people’s beer of the festival. Drop Project secured third place on the podium.
Of all the Wimbledon beers, Keller Helles was the public’s favourite, with 17 gallons disappearing in two days.
