The brewery line-up has been announced for Indie Beer Scotland, taking place at Edmiston House, Glasgow, on 6th and 7th September.
The festival will feature more than 200 Scottish cask and craft keg beers from 23 breweries, as well as independent cider and spirits, plus live music from eight different acts across the three sessions.
It is organised by Scottish brewers from the not-for-profit trade association the Society of Independent Brewers and Associates (SIBA). Now in it’s third year, all ticket and beer prices have been frozen from 2023.
“We’re proud to be pouring Scotland’s best independent craft beers at Indie Beer Scotland, and I think this year’s brewery list shows just how much quality Scotland has go to offer right now,” said Fiona MacEachern, of Loch Lomond Brewery, the festival organiser.
Indie Beer Scotland is also the home of the SIBA Scotland Independent Beer Awards 2024, with judging taking place prior to the festival opening to the public. Beers range from session-strength lagers and pale ales of 4% ABV, to barrel-aged imperial stouts and Scotch ales, which tip the scales at a punchy 10% ABV or above.
