The Wrexham Lager Beer Co has embarked on its first pre-season international football tour, securing a presence at Wrexham AFC’s match with Vancouver Whitecaps.

The brand’s famous Wrexham Lager was served in high footfall bar locations throughout at the renowned BC Place Stadium, with portable kegs available in the Wrexham AFC fan zone, which was specially constructed.
The Wrexham Lager Beer Co is one of the longest standing sponsors of Wrexham AFC, which is now famously under the ownership of Hollywood duo Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
This was the Wrexham Lager Beer Co’s first appearance in North America in what is an exciting period of international expansion for the business. It has already seen the brand successfully enter Scandinavia.

“It’s incredible to follow the football team across the Atlantic and achieve our first presence in North America,” said the brewery’s chief executive, James Wright (pictured above). “The feedback from the fans and other local stakeholders was resoundingly positive.
“This is a big milestone for the brand and precedes a number of important conversations we’re having in the region.”

Wiper and True has launched its flagship pale ale, Kaleidoscope (4.2% ABV) into Sainsbury’s stores. With Citra, Simcoe, and Mosaic hops, it offers bright citrus and vibrant fruit flavours, balanced with gentle, clean bitterness. “Harmonious, refreshing, and very drinkable,” says the brewer.
