Oktoberfest is returning to The Warehouse Taproom and Restaurant in Setchey, Norfolk, with its interpretation of authentic German food, entertainment, and, of course, beer.
Genuine Oktoberfest beer from Munich’s biggest breweries will be supplied by neighbouring business Beers of Europe, well known as the biggest beer shop in the UK.
You can expect bratwurst, pretzels and other German-themed meals from the restaurant, to be paired with a German lager takeover in the Taproom, plus live music.
Later this year, just outside Munich, the world’s biggest beer festival will celebrate its 188th outing. It is held on the Theresienwiese, or Therese meadow, named after Princess Therese, whose marriage to King Ludwig I started the annual tradition in 1810.
In attendance are the Munich big six breweries — Augustiner, Hacker-Pschorr, Hofbrau, Lowenbrau, Paulaner, and Spaten — who all brew a seasonal beer especially for Oktoberfest. The event attracts more than 6 million people over a two-week period, and inspires many ‘Mocktoberfests’ around the world.
The Warehouse Oktoberfest will take place over the 4th and 5th October with tickets available now, costing £25. This includes entrance, food, a large pretzel, and live music.
