Amity Brew Co has announced a brace of new beers ahead of its fourth anniversary celebration at Amityfest next weekend (5th-7th July).
Exquisite, a 7.7% ABV West Coast double IPA, is Amity’s homage to Stone Brewing’s beer Delicious.
Described as a “piney, resinous, flavour bomb of a beer”, it delivers bitter citrus kicks of orange peel and candied lemon, balanced by a caramel-sweet malt backbone and an assertive bitterness.
Chaos (6.6% ABV) is an American red IPA made in collaboration with Loughran Brewers Select and Lallemand Brewers. The two companies supply Amity with the vast majority of the malt, hops, and yeast it uses.
The beer strikes a balance between malty richness and hoppy intensity. With a deep amber hue, it boasts flavours of caramel and toasted malt with bold, citrusy hop notes.
