Ahead of this summer’s Euro Championships, in Germany, Nethergate Brewery has unveiled its latest cask beer release for June and July, Road To Glory pale ale.

It’s a regular release for major football tournaments, and returns this time with redesigned pumpclip featuring a pumped-up Gareth Southgate.
It’s an easy-drinking pale ale coming in at 4.3% ABV with light tropical and citrus notes from a combination of Citra, Columbus, and Mosaic hops.
“Given the popularity of this beer from previous footballing tournaments, we didn’t want to completely redefine its taste and character,” said the brewer.
“Instead, we’ve been busy trialling, tweaking, and tasting over the last few weeks until we crafted an updated brew with a refreshed pumpclip.”
Ian Carson, head brewer at Nethergate and an avid football fan, said: “With all the excitement and hope around Gareth’s squad this year in Germany, we knew we needed a pale ale worthy of their pursuit of glory! We reckon Road To Glory hits the spot perfectly.”
