Sour Power! London-based Mother Kelly’s annual festival of spontaneous, lambic, and wild beer, is returning for its seventh iteration this week.
The event will be taking place across all four of Mother Kelly’s taprooms (Bethnal Green E2, Stratford E20, Vauxhall SE1, Tottenham N17), as well as sibling pub The Queen’s Head, at 66 Acton Street WC1X 9NB.
The festival officially kicks off at noon on Friday, 24th May, and runs through until the end of the day on Monday.
All locations will pour a couple of exclusive house sours throughout the event. This year it’s Old Blush and Cherry Gose, from Fonta Flora in the US. Every venue will have a different brew by Jester King also gracing its taps.
Sites will feature their own unique selection of sour beers, with no overlapping guaranteed. That’s triple figures of amazing rotating across the taprooms, including cans and bottles at those locations with fridges.
