“We are incredibly honoured to receive this award,” said Julian Everard, the sixth generation chairman of Everards.

“It’s a reflection of our passionate team, our business owners, and our drinkers who have all given us ideas and feedback along our beer evolution. We’re delighted to see our new brewery so busy and our beers being embraced on bars.”

The judges noted: “The company is achieving its goals thanks to a well-thought-through vision and painstaking and patient implementation that has taken the whole team with it, along with many of its business owners in the pubs.

“Most impressively, Everards has proved it’s doing the right things by growing beer volumes in a challenging market.”

Julian added: “We had tough competition in the category with SALT and Brewpoint, and are proud to be in such a vibrant and exciting hospitality sector.

“Last year we worked with our business owners to develop 100 limited-edition beers, which complement our classic Tiger, Sunchaser, and Old Original. It’s been great fun having lots of beer conversations and we are grateful to everyone who has tried our beers, commented on our social and joined us on our Brewery Tour.

“Awards like this re-affirm our commitment to beer and encourage us to continue innovating and serving our community the best way we know how — with great beer and great company.”
