Brewer Mike Mason has announced the launch of a crowdfunding campaign to open a new brewery taproom in Threemilestone, Cornwall, in April.

Mike, formerly head brewer at Driftwood Spars Brewery, down the road in St Agnes, brings a wealth of expertise and passion for both traditional and modern beer styles to his latest venture.
He has a background that includes judging at the World Beer Awards, hosting beer tastings in Parliament, and winning numerous awards.
The new brewery will be located on Threemilestone Industrial Estate and will feature an immersive brewery taproom serving a wide variety of own-brewed beers, as well as guest beers from some of the best breweries from around the world. The space is designed to create a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere for people to gather and enjoy great beer.
“I’m really stoked to be launching this crowdfunding campaign to bring my vision for Mason Brewing Co to life,” said Mike. “I’m looking forward to unleashing the whirlwind of ideas I have in my head and providing a unique and memorable experience for our customers.
“I have loads of plans I’m itching to get started on, from renewing traditional brewing techniques to developing cutting-edge recipes. There will be something for everyone.
“I’m also acutely aware that the venture won’t succeed without engaging with the local community, so we’ve decided to launch this Crowdfunder to invite the community to join us on this exciting journey and help us make our dream a reality.”
