Newbury-based Delphic Brewing Co, established by Tom Broadbank in 2019, has launched a crowdfunding campaign to open a taproom.

Currently based in a double garage, the brewery makes small batches of both cask ales and craft beers, from bitters and pale ales to sours and stouts.
With the business now developing, a warehouse and retail space in Newbury town centre has been identified to boost expansion. This would be the site of the brewhouse and a taproom.
“We’ll be upgrading our brewhouse, but remaining small batch, so you can expect to see plenty of monthly seasonal releases, alongside our core range,” says Tom in the Crowdfunder pitch.
“With ten lines of keg beer and three cask ale handpulls, beer from us, plus local and national guest lines, we think it’s going to be brilliant and can’t wait to welcome you.”
There is a £30,000 fundraising target. To find out more about the campaign and the rewards available, click here.
