Available in bottle and cask, the hoppy bitter is deep amber in colour with a subtle sweetness throughout. It’s the fourth and final charity brew from the family-run brewery in 2023.
Five per cent of all proceeds go to THHN, a Torbay charity that provides free memory-making holidays to families who have seriously ill or bereaved children.
“Being a local, family-run brewery, we’re always looking at how we can give something back to our community, and Jingle Ale is a great way to celebrate what Christmas is all about — showing our appreciation to others,” said Bays Brewery director Peter Salmon.
“We’re thrilled to be working with the Torbay Holidays Helpers Network, a great local charity that gives families something positive to focus during an unimaginably tough time, by allowing them to make unforgettable memories that they’ll treasure forever.”
Martin Brook, director of THNN, said: “It’s always memorable drinking a pint of Bays, but with them kindly sponsoring THHN with their Jingle Ale, extra memories will be triggered.
“We will be able to provide memory-making respite holidays to more families who face some of the most traumatic situations imaginable, whether a child is suffering a serious or life-limiting illness, or has died, or a parent is terminally ill or died far too young.
“So, thank you Bays and cheers to Jingle Ale, a fabulous Christmas present for THHN.”
The Paignton-based brewery will once again be showing its support to some top local charities with the launch of four new charity brews in 2024.
