Black Sheep Brewery has launched a gift pack raising money for rugby league champion Rob Burrow MBE, who lives with Motor Neurone Disease.
Featuring exclusive merchandise and Rob’s book, it was launched this week by Rob’s former Leeds Rhinos teammate and Sky Sports presenter, Barrie McDermott.
The gift pack includes four bottles of Burrow’s Blonde, which has raised more than £5,600 through the Rob Burrow 7 Discretionary Trust and the Rob Burrow Racing Club since it was launched in August. Every gift pack sold will generate £5 for the charities.
“We’ve absolutely loved working with Rob Burrow and his family over the past few months, and we’re excited to be taking that partnership further with the new gift pack, available for £45 on the brewery website,” said Black Sheep head brewer, Dan Scott Paul.
“There’s lots of rugby league fans here at Black Sheep Brewery, and Rob is idolised by so many of our team. We’re hoping that Burrow’s Blonde Gift Pack will help continue raising funds to Rob’s racing clubs, who do so much for both their members and various charitable causes”.
The Rob Burrow Racing Club has helped to raise over six figures for the MND Association through the work of Rob’s charity race horse, Burrow Seven.
Barrie McDermott added: “The ultimate gift for the rugby lover in your life, where a £5 donation will go to our little mate, Rob Burrow and his family.”
