Gipsy Hill Brewing is to launch a new crowdfunding campaign, with a mission to become the world’s first carbon-negative brewery without offsets.
The brewery ran its first community equity investment round in 2022. It welcomed 581 investors into its community, hitting its funding target in one day and overfunding by more than 130%.
This has helped the business to double the size of its on-site taproom and grow the business by 35% in 2023 (so far).
Earlier this year, Gipsy Hill launched the world’s first carbon-negative beers, achieved without relying on carbon offsets. The new crowdfunding campaign will help it accelerate its climate-positive agenda.
