There are just over two weeks to go until the opening of the Norwich Beer Festival, and advance tickets to the six-day event are available.
The festival runs from 23rd to 28th October. There’s free entry to all sessions for CAMRA members, including those who join at the festival. The advance tickets are available here.
“We really appreciate those loyal customers who return year on year,” said festival organiser Craig Harmer. “But, if you’ve never been to the festival, you’re in for a treat!
“Discover your favourite tipple and enjoy a catch-up with friends, a relaxed time with family, and see the live music in Blackfriars Hall at the weekend! The outstanding venue, huge range of drinks, combined with laughter and smiles, always makes this a magical time of the year!”
Every variety of ale will be on offer, with the more unusual to be found at the Curiosity Bar. There will also be a dedicated cider and perry bar, with everything from the very sweet to the very dry. The very popular World Beer Bar returns to the marquee with a mix of overseas specials.
As always, there will be a limited number of Norwich Beer Festival collectible beer glasses, with the new logo. An engraver will be on site in St Andrew’s Hall, to add that personalised touch.
This year, Norwich & District CAMRA is sourcing more national beers and will be offering at least 35 gluten-free beers, with a dedicated bay. There will also be more than 50 vegan beers, and over 35 beers in wooden firkins.
A live beer and cider list will be published just before the festival. More details on the Norwich and District CAMRA website.
