Liberation Group has appointed Simon Griffiths as operations director, overseeing operations for Butcombe pubs and inns, and Liberation pubs and bars.

Starting his career in hospitality in 1999, Simon worked his way up through the ranks of Loch Fyne. In 2012, he moved to an operations manager role.
Simon moved into pubs in 2018, looking after sites in Kensington, Knightsbridge, Chelsea, and Bayswater. He joined Premium and Urban Pubs South as an operations manager in 2020, responsible for pubs on the south coast, and began working for Liberation Group in December 2022.
“Simon’s operational and leadership expertise, alongside his wealth of knowledge and experience of our industry, will bring a huge amount of value to our senior management team,” said Jayson Perfect, group managing director, pubs and inns, at Liberation Group.
