The Bristol Beer Festival will return to City Hall, College Green, in the city from Thursday, 16th to Sunday, 19th November, organiser CAMRA has confirmed.

CAMRA Bristol Beer Festival
The Bristol Beer Festival is described as the premier real ale-, cider-, and perry-focused event in the Bristol area

There will be a carefully chosen selection of around 80 different real ales on sale over the course of the festival, as well as a range of around 30 ciders and perries.

“Obviously the range of beer is important, and we can promise an excellent range of beer styles to try in cask ale form, plus, of course, plenty of cider and perry,” said Bristol and District CAMRA branch chairman, Richard Brooks.

“But just as important is the friendly and sociable atmosphere. After last year’s festival we ran a customer survey and the overwhelming response was that people really enjoyed interacting with our volunteer staff. When you’re not sure which beer to try next, it’s great to be able to have a chat with a fellow enthusiast.”

He added: “One bit of negative feedback we did receive about the 2022 festival was that the venue felt a bit too crowded at the peak of some sessions. So we have reduced the overall number of tickets on sale for the 2023 sessions.

“Customers also missed not having a Friday lunchtime session, and I’m pleased to advise that we have been able to add one for this festival, although all the Friday lunchtime tickets seem to have sold out very quickly.

“There are still tickets left for all the other sessions, including the relaxed Sunday afternoon session, which was highly rated by those that attended last year.”

Tickets are available here.
