Four remarkable beers from Northern Monk have gone on sale in Morrisons, unique collaborations with food producer Aunt Bessie’s.

At first sight, the two companies seem unlikely bedfellows, but the releases follow the success of a Jam Roly Poly and Custard Pale Ale last year.
Now the famous Yorkshire brands have added to that brew with:
- Apple Crumble and Custard Pale Ale
- Roast Dinner Brown Ale, and
- Sticky Toffee Pudding and Custard Porter.
Unusual flavourings the beers may have, but they are selling well and scoring decently on UnTappd, with Apple Crumble and Custard the most popular variant at time of writing.
“After the huge success of the Aunt Bessie’s x Northern Monk Jam Roly Poly beer in 2022, we’re thrilled to again be offering customers the chance to challenge their tastebuds and sample fantastic innovation with three new flavours,” said Lewis Gartland, Morrisons’ craft beer and bottled ale buying manager. “We are certain customers are going to love this exciting launch.”
