Anglia Maltings Holdings (AMH) — comprising Crisp Malt, EDME Food Ingredients, and Micronized Food Products — has been acquired by Richardson International.

Richardson International processes and refines Canadian-grown oilseeds into quality oils and manufactures oil-based ingredients for the retail, food service, and industrial sectors. It is also actively involved in processing oats and durum into a variety of value-added food products. Recognised as one of Canada’s best managed companies, its operations span Canada, the US, and the UK.
“For quite some time, we have actively been seeking an opportunity to enter the malting industry in a significant way. We see malting as a natural extension of our food processing business,” said Curt Vossen, chief executive officer at Richardson International.
