This includes partnerships with two of Scotland’s most iconic events: The Royal Highland Show and The Royal Edinburgh Miliary Tattoo.

Innis & Gunn’s sponsorship of this year’s Royal Highland Show, which runs from 22nd to 25th June, has been elevated to maximise its involvement and presence.

With more than 200,000 visitors attending over the four days, Innis & Gunn will serve its award-winning beer at over 20 bars across the site. It has also won the tender to operate the bars, and deliver all catering, for a huge new open-air evening event within the show called The Royal Highland Hoolie. This music event will run across two evenings and showcase some of Scotland and Ireland’s best country and folk musical talent.

The Royal Highland Show and Innis & Gunn have a shared ambition to champion the best of Scottish produce, supporting the industry and the country’s wider economy. Innis & Gunn works closely with various Scottish suppliers to create its beers, with malts sourced in Scotland, barley malted in Alloa, and spent grains collected by local farmers for use as cattle feed.

Following a recent award win at the European Sponsorship Awards for its sponsorship of last year’s Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, Innis & Gunn has been reappointed as the official beer supplier for the 2023 Tattoo Show ‘Stories’ and will be running a bar service (with pre-orders) from 4th to 26th August.

This partnership with the Tattoo is unique and made history last year as it was the first time that the event had been licensed in its 72 years.

Innis & Gunn introduced a drinks order platform, edintattoodrinks.co.uk, last year, which allowed audiences to pre-order their drinks for their chosen show right up until 10am the night before.  The pre-order platform will be available once again.

“Sponsoring these iconic events reinforces our commitment to showcasing and supporting the very best of Scotland, whilst ensuring that visitors from home or abroad enjoy the very best experience of our award-winning beers,” said Innis & Gunn chief executive and master brewer, Dougal Gunn Sharp.

“We are an active champion of Scottish produce. We brew in Scotland using only the finest Scottish ingredients, working with local suppliers, so the Royal Highland Show provides the perfect platform to support the rural industry and enhance the visitor experience.”

Royal Highland Show event manager, Fiona Wallace, said: “Working with companies like Innis & Gunn helps enhance our offering to our customers and sits parallel to our core values, the promotion and celebration of the best in Scottish produce and commitment to local suppliers.

“We are excited to have Innis & Gunn as the sole beer provider for our brand-new Royal Highland Hoolie on Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th June. It is proving to be a popular event with tickets selling fast.”
