The first of these is Petite Cerise (3.5% ABV), a new limited edition of Burning Sky’s classic barrel-aged Petite Saison. This iteration has been rested on second-wash sour cherries for a light, refreshing and slightly tart fruit chrcater.
The anniversary beers will be adorned with a little balloon, not dissimilar to the fifth anniversary ones, but with a ’10’ in the motif.
There are two other new releases. Learning from a first brew with Elusive Brewing’s Andy Parker, there’s a revised rebrew of Send Your Wishes (6.5% ABV). It’s a take on the classic Red IPA, layered through the boil with Simcoe and then dry-hopped with four classic varieties.
Finally, there is a freshly canned batch of Luppoleto Pils (5.2% ABV), brewed with Pilsner malt and noble German hop varieties, fermented cold then dry-hopped and lagered for an extended period. Flavours of cereal malt combine with citrus and grassy hop aromas. There’s a crisp finish.
