Chickpea Group co-founder Ethan Davids and The Immersive Group co-owner Dave Hancock are teaming up with brewers Lyall Dew and Joe Robinson to found Rude Giant Brew Co.
Already supplying some local pubs and restaurants in Wiltshire, Rude Giant aims to go back to basics to make “beer for all palates”.
“Since the age of 16, I have been brewing cider with apples from my parents’ garden and making homebrew in university dorms and airing cupboards,” said Joe.
“Brewing using local crushed malts and whole-leaf hops still inspires my brewing today. Rude Giant is built on the belief that you don’t need to be a connoisseur or critic to love good, tasty beer.”
Joe’s family farm will house the brewery, alongside the existing Blonde Brothers brewery, which he also runs.
The Rude Giant portfolio includes:
- Rude Best (3.8% ABV, cask): a traditional bitter;
- Rude Pale Ale (3.6% ABV, cask): a golden ale;
- Session Pale Ale (4.3% ABV, keg): a fruity, smooth pale ale; and
- Rude Lager (4.5% ABV, keg): a crisp,pilsner-inspired lager.
