The Rambling Beer Co is uniting the brewing communities of Liverpool and Ukraine with Beer Together, a celebration of Liverpool as it hosts the Eurovision Song Contest for Ukraine.

Beer Together

Eight independent breweries will collaborate on eight beers that will be available at selected venues throughout Liverpool during the Eurovision festivities. From the unique Ukrainian Golden Ale to the classic Belgian Blanche Wheat Beer, there is a style for every palate.

The project has been organised by The Rambling Beer Co’s Sarah Hyde, along with Ukrainian beer writer and educator, Lana Svitankova.

“I am deeply honoured to be involved in the project and to help the European audience discover Ukrainian breweries, especially during these trying times,” said Lana.

“A little more love, compassion, and camaraderie never hurt, and all of this will be delivered by Liverpudlian and Ukrainian breweries alike in sizable quantities. So come and enjoy the liquid expression of togetherness with us!”

Throughout the first half of May, alongside the Eurovision events in Liverpool, accredited beer sommelier Sarah will be leading a range of activities, including beer tastings, meet-and-greet sessions with brewers, food pairing events, and guided walking tours.

Sarah said: “I’m thrilled to bring the breweries of Liverpool and Ukraine together to celebrate beer, music, and unity. As a beer sommelier, I am passionate about showcasing local beer, and I can’t wait to show off these collaboration beers during the tours and tasting events I have planned for those first two weeks in May.”

The Head Of Steam, on Hanover Street, in the centre of the city, will be serving all eight beers over the Eurovision festival period, and will also serve as the hub for the project’s regular tours and tastings.
