The brewing team at Butcombe Brewing Co are raising a glass having triumphed at this year’s Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA) Independent Beer Awards.
Butcombe took home the silver award for its alcohol-free IPA, Goram IPA Zero, in the non-alcoholic and low-ABV category.
“Huge congratulations to our brewing team for once again proving our Goram IPA Zero is a giant on the low-/no-alcohol stage,” said Marc McGuigan, group managing director, brewing and distribution, at Butcombe parent Liberation Group.
“Our brilliant team works so hard to produce a great-tasting alcohol-free IPA that is full of authentic flavour and body. Available in bottles and on draught, Goram IPA Zero is the perfect option for those looking for a non-alcoholic drink to enjoy at home or at the pub.”
The two-day judging session saw the panel marking ales for appearance, aroma, flavour, aftertaste and saleability.
