Fuller’s is launching a new cheeseburger in its craft pubs, and 100 customers will get the chance to try it for free, accompanied by a pint of Verdant Lightbulb.
On Wednesday, 25th January, from 5pm, the first 100 customers through the doors at The Hydrant, in London’s Monument Street, will be able to enjoy the new burger, and a pint, for free.
The burger will be available, from the same day, in Fuller’s 17 craft pubs, from Birmingham to Brighton. These pubs serve an eclectic mix of beers, on draught, and in cans and bottles, with food menus based around sharers and bar snacks.
Verdant’s Lightbulb is an extra pale ale with a biscuity malt base, brewed with a mix of European and American hops, giving it a hint of sweetness.
“I’m really excited to offer our customers the opportunity to try this tasty new burger for free,” said Patrick Wagstaff, Fuller’s deputy operations manager, who has overseen the project.
“By 25th January, even the most determined abstainers are ready to break their new year’s resolutions, and we’ll be there for the most eager 100 people with a delicious free burger and pint in hand.”
