A new podcast from AF Beer Club aims to explore every corner of the alcohol-free beer industry, from alcohol-free ales to zero-proof pints.

“We’ll leave no stone unturned in delving deep into the rich history, culture, and future of the AF beer world,” says host Robin Lomax. He’s founder of alcohol-free beer subscription service AF Beer Club.
Selected in Shortlist’s best beer subscriptions list, the club has a loyal membership receiving eight beers every month. The beers are carefully selected by Robin, who has tried more than 700 AF beers and hosted multiple meet the brewer events.
The podcast aims to bring all this together, looking at a different letter in each episode, in a snappy 15 minute, three-part podcast. Each episode will feature: a deep dive into a brewery making great AF beer; a focus on a particular trend or issue in the industry; and opening and discussing a classic AF beer.
The first episode features:
- A deep dive and clips from the USA’s Athletic Brewing
- A look at adaptogens in the AF beer world with Erdinger, Impossibrew, and Fungtn
- Tasting notes and the backstory of the iconic Adnams Ghost Ship AF.
The next episode (B) is due out in mid-January, in conjunction with the next AF Beer Club members’ box. Some beers will match those discussed in the podcast.
