Entries have opened for the first World Alcohol-Free Awards, dedicated to drinks products at or below 0.5% ABV.
There are categories for all categories of drinks, including beer and cider. The competition will be judged from specialists gathered from around the world.
As well as awarding medals, it will also give out trophies for products that are inclusive and good for the planet and its people; for organic, hegan, halal, gluten-free, and ethical products or ranges.
As well as medals, certificates, bottle stickers, and full analysis on the competition’s website, top medal winners will also be the centrepiece of the World Alcohol-Free Awards’ presence at key European drinks trade exhibitions.
The website is open for entries now. Entries will be processed in the new year, with judging taking place in February. Medals will be announced at the end of March, with trophies awarded in May.
