Lime — the world’s largest shared electric scooter and bike company — has partnered with Fuller’s, to offer its London-based hospitality staff an alternative, affordable, sustainable transport option to get home safely.

Lime will provide Fuller’s 2,000 London-based hospitality staff with access to 50% off all Lime e-scooter and e-bike rides in the capital.
The partnership comes as research has found that half of women (49%) feel unsafe when walking alone after dark in a busy public place or quiet street.
Lime and Fullers’ partnership was made possible following an introduction by the Women’s Night Safety Charter — a charter designed to make London a city where all women feel confident and welcome at night — of which both companies are signatories.
Dawn Browne, people and talent director at Fuller’s, said: “It’s our people that make the difference and this partnership with Lime is just another way for us to help make it safer for our team members to get home.
“It’s a great fit for us — it helps our teams financially, too, and we know that a number of our team members are already using bikes for hire as a method of commuting. I know this is going to be very popular.”
• Budweiser Brewing Group UK&I has launched an awareness campaign encouraging people to support the uptake of safety app WalkSafe+, and is promoting this message in venues across the UK, starting with Punch venues.
WalkSafe+ exists to make the world a safer place and is a mapping app that allows its 500,000-plus users to plan their route home using the latest digital tools and information based on police data, whether that’s a live incident or a warning about a lack of streetlights.
Since launching the campaign in September, a number of pubs and bars have signed up to support uptake of the app, including leading operator Punch Pubs. Through on-trade support, the app has seen more than 19,000 new sign-ups since launch.
