Anspach and Hobday has added a new event to London’s craft beer calendar. Domestock will be the city’s first dedicated nitro beer festival.
Domestock will be hosted at The Arch House, Anspach & Hobday’s taproom on The Bermondsey Beer Mile, from 16th to 18th November.
It will be a celebration of using nitrogen within craft brewing, and the resulting creamy texture, smooth mouthfeel, and domed pint that it brings.
Anspach & Hobday, known for its independent nitro porter London Black, will be joined by other craft breweries, bringing their own beers brewed with nitrogen. These will include Siren Craft Brew, Whiplash, Brew York, and the US-based pioneer of using nitrogen in craft brewing, Left Hand Brewing Co.
To celebrate the event, Anspach & Hobday will be pouring two special one-off nitro versions of core range beers, The Ordinary Bitter and The Pfeffernüsse Stout, alongside flagship London Black. Guest beers will be announced on Anspach & Hobday’s social media channels in the lead-up to the event.
For Domestock, The Arch House will be open from 5pm until 10pm on Wednesday and Thursday, and noon until 10pm on Friday. The event is free and not ticketed, though those who want to take advantage of the value for money drinks voucher, can do so here. The voucher entitles drinkers to five one-third servings for £10. Table reservations can be made here.
