Final preparations are under way for this year’s Norwich Beer Festival, at The Halls, from 24th to 29th October.
There will be more than 300 cask ales and over 60 ciders and perries, as well as the Curiosity Bar and World Beer Bar. Local ales will be spread throughout both halls and, for the first time, Blackfriars will host a selection of bands and music.
Every day, including Saturday, visitors can pay on the door with cash or card. There’s a swift entry system and free entry for CAMRA members. If you’re not a member, you can join up at the festival.
When arriving at the Halls, beers are purchased through a stamp card system. These are bought from the glasses stand, along with your glass. You can return to the glasses or World Beer Bar for further stamp cards.
There is a limited number of Norwich Beer Festival glasses, with this year’s unique logo. Lunchtime sessions are 11.30am until 3pm, and evening sessions start at 5pm.
This year’s charity is Nelson’s Journey, which celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2022. It works to bring back the smiles of young people and children who have experienced the death of a significant person in their lives. All donations will be welcome, no matter how small, and unspent vouchers can be donated at the glasses counter, charity stand, or to charity volunteers.
