Four German-influenced beers will help Moor Beer Co and its fans celebrate Oktoberfest this month. “We wanted to flex our Reinheitsgebot muscles a bit more.”
“Everyone knows our rustic 4% lager Kellerbier is considered one of the finest and truest in the land, and that we have an unusually strong affection for our 4.2% pale Smoked Lager,” says the brewer.
“Adding to those, we’re bringing you a true to style 5.8% Fest Bier, horizontally lagered and naturally carbonated with live yeast as usual.”
“It’s a technique and level of attention to detail seldom seen on our shores, so if you want to join the celebration but can’t make it to Munich, this is as close as you’ll get. Stare at the label long enough and you’ll hear the oompah band playing. Unlike in Munich, we recommend that you drink more of our Fest Bier than you wear.”
Moor has also released another German style brew, Hefeweizen (5.1% ABV), while Galaxy-hopped pale ale So’Hop (4.1% ABV) is also back, due to popular demand. It will be available, for the first time in three years, in cask, keg, and cans.
