Beartown Brewery has opened The Den, a new taproom, at its Spindle Street, Congleton, site. Visitors can see the brewing team at work.

Beartown Den

Beartown stopped brewing in January as alterations to the site began. The coppers are now fired up again, with the new taproom the biggest evolution of the business since its foundation in 1994.

The beer menu in The Den is constantly changing and is served alongside a selection of wines, spirits and coffee. The venue is available for private hire and there will also be brewery tours and tasting events.

Joseph Manning, managing director of Beartown Brewery, said: “We are excited to finally open the doors to The Den, our taproom serving some of our old favourites as well as some new additions, all brewed here in Congleton.

“The Den has long been a dream of mine. We’re looking forward to welcoming the people of Congleton and beyond. We have space here for up to 70 people and are open 10am to 10pm, Tuesday to Sunday, with an ever-changing selection of beers on offer.”
