Skinner’s Brewery is launching a new series of small-batch beers at the weekend’s Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival.
The Single Skin Series is Skinner’s project to develop single-batch brews with a modern, experimental edge. It’s a chance for the brewing team to get creative with hops and techniques.
First to be launched in Zawn, an intense, hop-forward IPA with a subtle marmalade aroma. Expect explosive grapefruit and bracing bitterness in this ultra-hazy style, with a pillowy texture and lingering finish.
All Single Skin Series beers are vegan friendly and available in keg initially, with illustrations by emerging Falmouth-based artist Abby Mundell.
Skinner’s is a headline sponsor of the sea shanty festival and has been involved with the event since its inception. You’ll be able to find Zawn on the brewer’s bar there.
