Shepherd Neame’s Team Extreme raised more than £10,000 for the company’s charity of the year, Kent Wildlife Trust, by taking on the Jurassic Coast Ultra Challenge in Dorset.

Team Extreme is a group of team members at the Faversham-based brewery and pub company, including chief executive Jonathan Neame, who tackle tough endurance challenges for charity.
The full 100km route runs from Corfe Castle to Bridport, with more than 2,200 metres of climb. Six team members, including Jonathan, completed the full route. Commercial estate manager, John Barnes, finished fifth with an impressive time of 12 hours, 24 minutes. Seven team members completed the 58km challenge, and another two completed the 42km challenge.
Jonathan said: “The Jurassic Coast Ultra Challenge was a very demanding but rewarding experience. On behalf of the team, I would like to thank all those who have given so generously and helped us raise a significant amount of money for our charity of the year.”
