71 Brewing, in Dundee, has captured the mood to jet off to sunnier climates this Easter with its latest beer, an IPA called Flight Path.
The 6.1% ABV brew will be added to the brewery’s core range of beers, available all year round, and complement an already well-established and popular range of craft beers.
Flight Path is a fresh, citrus flavoured ale, brewed using a generous amount of Azacco, Cryo Citra, and Simcoe hops. Tropical, citrus, and pine flavours shine through.
71 Brewing founder Duncan Alexander said: “Our brewing team are on a roll with the second new beer release in just four weeks. Flight Path will quench your thirst for sunnier days ahead. Lovely and refreshing!”
71 Brewing was established in Dundee in 2016, the city’s first active brewery in more than 50 years. Based in the former ironworks towering out of the heart of an area known as Hell’s Half Acre, the brewery building formed a major part of the mighty Blackness iron foundry.
With a core range of crisp lagers and hazy pale ales, 71 Brewing also produces distinctive, locally sourced, fruited sour beers and small batch seasonal specials that complement its core ranges. The brewery is currently on a journey to becoming fully carbon neutral certified by 2025.
