Ora Brewing has collaborated with Tottenham Foodbank on a fundraising double-dry-hopped New England pale ale.
Since March 2020, the Foodbank has received a 300% increase in demand for food, and it expects this trend to continue in 2022.
Many of itsclients are elderly, disabled or ‘newly hungry’ (previously having comfortable incomes, which have been lost due to the economic impact of the pandemic).
Ora Brewing says: “We feel, as a small business, we want to help them, therefore we are giving the proceeds from this beer entirely to Tottenham Foodbank.”
The beer is brewed with extra pale malt, naked oats, cara gold, and wheat malt, and dry hopped with El Dorado, Comet, and Pacific Gem, all fermented in New England Verdant yeasts for a juicy character.
Expect intense tropical aromatics, grapefruit, and lemon notes, combined with the blackberry and floral character of Pacific Gem.
