St Austell Brewery is looking for managers of two pubs in Charlestown, which played a starring role in the BBC series, Poldark.

Charlestown, on the south coast of Cornwall, is famous for its collection of tall ships and breathtaking scenery. Many of the scenes from Poldark were filmed the grade II listed harbour, just a stone’s throw from the brewery’s Rashleigh Arms and Pier House.
The Rashleigh Arms is an award-winning premium pub with 18 stylish bedrooms, which overlook the historic harbour. Meanwhile, the Pier House Hotel is a larger inn with 27 rooms, which also benefits from stunning harbour views.
The company is looking for experienced pub managers from a managed background who are great customer and people leaders, and truly passionate about quality food and drink and creating memorable experiences for our guests. Applicants must also demonstrate a strong drive for developing customer experience, leading a team, and delivering exceptional retail standards.
The Pier House Hotel
Being set in such a desirable location means the pub welcomes high footfall over the summer, so the ideal candidates will have worked in environments managing high seasonal uplift and have a passion for delivering great experiences all-year round. A salary between £42,000 and £50,000 per year is being offered for both roles, with a comprehensive benefits package.
