Landmark Lager won gold award in the lagers category, Benchmark Session IPA a silver in the ales category, and Barrel Wave barrel-aged IPA a bronze in the speciality beers class.

“All three beers are relatively new additions to our range and the awards are testament to the skill and commitment of our brew team,” said Wold Top’s director, Kate Balchin.

“We’re particularly proud of the fact that Landmark Lager was one of only 18 gold medal winning beers in the lager category that attracted 113 entries.”

The new beers have already achieved success in brewing awards. Landmark Lager won a silver award at the SIBA Regional Digital Beer Awards 2020, and both Barrel Wave and Benchmark won awards at this year’s World Beer Awards.

Landmark Lager (4.2% ABV) is a British lager with notes of honey, herbs and lemon, together with lightly toasted malts. Barrel Wave (9.2% ABV) is a barrel-aged beer brewed in collaboration with Wold Top’s sister company, Spirit of Yorkshire. Benchmark (4.2% ABV) is a highly-hopped session IPA.
