A tap takeover will help Tate Modern launch its Power to Change weekend, which runs from 29th to 31st October.

On Friday, 29th October, the gallery will host a special Tate Lates session featuring the 26 beers exclusively brewed for Toast Ale’s Companion Series campaign.

The beers use surplus bread to prevent food waste and reduce demand for natural resources. They are being launched ahead of the COP26 climate summit, taking place in Glasgow in November.

Following the tap takeover all 26 beers will be available on draught at the gallery’s Terrace Bar, until 12th November. Accompanying QR codes will access information on each brewery’s ethos and the Toast Ale climate awareness project.

Tate Eats is committed to supporting independent producers leading sustainable practices in their field. It is delighted to be working with Toast Ale once again.

Over the course of the weekend, Tate Eats will be presenting a pop-up Power to Change mezze menu. This will have a strong focus on sustainability and zero-waste cooking, featuring ingredients sourced from a variety of London-based and dedicated British suppliers.
