Shepherd Neame has announced the return of seasonal favourite Late Red — in cask, and also in bottles for the first time since 2017.

Complex and full-flavoured, this seasonal ale forges a balance between rich, dark malt flavours, and a citrussy hop finish.
Late Red blends pale ale malt and gently-kilned crystal malt with UK Cascade and Goldings hops. To enhance its taste and aroma, the beer is triple-hopped, with a late copper addition of Goldings and Cascade.
The popular crimson-copper autumn ale will be available throughout September as part of Shepherd Neame’s real ale initiative Cask Club. A new cask ale is released each month, celebrating modern styles and flavours, with exciting recipes and classic seasonal favourites.
The initiative highlights the historic brewer’s continued passion for innovation and seasonality, offering loyal fans different tastes, while also attracting new cask ale drinkers.
